TonCut is intended for cutting optimization of flat (2D) and long (1D) materials, such as: glass, wood, stone, metal, aluminum, plexiglass, cardboard, tubes, bars, etc.
Short explanation. TonCut enables fast manual data input with keyboard shortcuts.
Longer explanation. In the program’s main window you can easily navigate between projects and stock with ALT-1 and ALT-2 keyboard shortcuts. You can add a new element or material using the + or the INSERT key. You can also go to editing by pressing ENTER or F2. Remove elements and materials with DELETE. Search by pressing F3 or CTRL+F.
To navigate elements and materials, use arrow keys on the keyboard. You can select all elements or materials by pressing CTRL+A. You can also select a group of elements by holding down the SHIFT key and using the arrows. You can select any non-adjacent elements or materials by holding down CTRL, navigating the list with arrows and pressing space.
Elements. Use TAB, ENTER or SHIFT-TAB to navigate between fields. Use arrow keys to navigate the diagram. You can change the structure on the diagram by pressing space. Veneers on the edges of the diagram can be changes using either space or the MENU key (near CTRL on the right hand side of the keyboard).
Materials. Use TAB, ENTER or SHIFT-TAB to navigate between fields - this also applies to formatting width for the individual edges. The structure on the diagram can be changed by pressing space.
